candice nance, Owner + Pilates Instructor

Candice is a North Carolina native and went on to attend UNC-Charlotte. After she graduated college, she stayed in the area, eventually landing in York County, SC where she has lived for the last 15 years. After living in downtown Rock Hill a few years, she decided it would be the ideal place to start the boutique Pilates studio she had been dreaming of.

Candice became a comprehensively certified Pilates Instructor after suffering long-term and limiting injuries. Pilates helped her regain what she had lost from these injuries, and she was inspired to help others as she had been helped. She has a special interest in Pilates for seniors and athletic style programming.

After teaching thousands of hours of group fitness, Candice wanted to set her business model apart from the industry—keep it small, personal, safe. She wanted all clients to feel welcome and more than just a number. Her vision, Rock Hill Pilates, opened in August 2022.

Candice and her long-term partner, a Rock Hill teacher, enjoy living in downtown Rock Hill with their motley crew of rescue pets: Harriet, Nissa, Pepper, Beanie Weenie, Scoot, Sprout, and The Pig.
